Today I teed off early in the morning excited and ready to go. Only problem is I started bogie, bogie, bogie and had 2 three putts in the first 3 holes. But on my 4th hole I almost knocked it in the hole from 108 yards. So I knocked in a birdie. Next hole knocked a 25 footer for par and made birdy on the next hole. I finished the first 9 holes at one over and I knew I had a good chance. I figured I needed to shoot 73 or 74 to make the cut. I made a bogie with a wedge in my hand on the 10th hole I played, and that got the downward spiril going, I finished shooting a 77 and a total of 153 for two rounds. I learned a lot about my game and myself. I realized that if I work on my short game and putting I can be right with the best. I am really consistant and hit my driver great. I hit my irons well, I just did not putt well. I now know how to get better and I cannot wait until I get another oppertunity to go back. I just cannot say thank you enough to my dad for supporting me down in Florida, it ment a lot to me. I also cannot thank the members of Transit Valley CC for helping me get down to Florida with all their donations. It has been a great trip and I will continue to try and improve my game so I can make another National Tournament.
