Here in Buffalo it reached 60 degrees on March 11th. This has everyone thinking golf. Here is a great stretch for your golf game. Grip your golf club, pretending you are going to hit a shot. Take a 3 quarter backswing nice and slow. Really reach that club back during the backswing. When you get to the top of this 3 quarter swing, straighten your left knee without moving your upperbody for right handed golfers and feel your lat muscles on your right side stretch. Then keeping that upper body quiet make sure your hips are facing your target if they are not try and rotate just your hips and lower body toward your target. If you watch the pros play their hips always open to their target before they start their downswing. This is a great stretch and drill for your golf game.
