Doesn’t it seem like you always play great golf in the beginning of the year. I go out there in April, I don’t expect much, I have a good time and shoot great scores. Why doesn’t this happen all year? I think it is because we start thinking about our game, and get our expectations up. Remember to keep it simple on the golf course especially after a long winter. Aim for the middle of greens, work on two putting and getting your chips up and down. Even though the weather has been great, don’t evaluate your game too much in these early months. Remember April is trade in trade up month, bring your old clubs in and upgrade to a new set. May is free lesson month, get a free 10 minute lesson from a PGA Professional.
