This past Monday myself and the other Pros I work with, took a trip over the border and played a course named Grand Niagara. This is a Rees Jones design, and a fantastic one. The bunkering on the course is awsome and the layout is stunning. This upscale public course in Canada is a great value. It is just as good a Legands on the Niagara, Whirlpool, and Lochness Links. Each hole presents a nice challenge. The fifth hole is a great dogleg left, that we shot some video on, the sixth is a long par 3 which has a tough green. I was fortunate enough to hit a shot to 9 feet and make birdie, while the other guys made bogies. I played some good golf that day and had a 4 foot putt to beat my boss, Tim Fries for the first time. As I hit the putt I thought I made it and the golf gods threw it back at me as went all around the hole and came back to me. Oh well, my day will come.
