If there is one thing that goes to pot over the winter, it is our short game. To many of us do not practice our short game enough. For every 10 minutes we hit balls on the range, we should spend 20 minutes on the putting or chipping green. Becasue we don’t practice (our short game) for 5 months during the winter, we lose our “feel” or “touch.” Spend some extra time in the beginning of the year practicing this before you get real serious on the course. If you think you are practicing the wrong thing, set up a lesson with myself or John for your short game.
